1. What are the operating Systems in which ROVAN LMS will work?

3. Is it possible to customise the software?

NO. ROVAN LMS is a proven software implemented at several libraries. The package is designed to take care of library functionality required by different types of libraries. The package has number of preference settings and user defined rules to meet specific requirements. It is flexible and accommodates changes in the library policies. You can introduce new item types whenever there is a need.

ROVAN LMS software is given to you as a product. We always welcome suggestions by our users and work towards the betterment of the product. These new features are agreed upon mutually and are given to you as subsequent upgrades. You are entitled for free upgrades as per the annual maintenance agreement. Please note that changes applicable or relevant only to a specific library are not advisable as it requires the software to be maintained separately and affects implementation of future upgrades at the library.

4. Can you convert our existing data in ROVAN LMS?

YES. We can convert existing machine readable data into ROVAN LMS database at some nominal charges. Generally existing data is in the database systems such as xBASE, Access, Excel. You have to give us the field descriptions. The fields are associated with attributes available in ROVAN LMS database. 100% data conversion may not be possible. We request you to specify your data conversion needs to us before acquiring ROVAN LMS.

5. Is ROVAN LMS barcode compatible?

Yes.

6. Can we introduce new Item type in the database?

YES. ROVAN LMS allows you to catalogue variety of material such as Scanned documents, drawings, slides, Annual reports. At any time you can introduce any number of new item types in the system.
